As most of our products are handmade to order, lead times will vary depending on the product(s) being purchased. Please refer to each product listing, where the lead time is written. If your order is urgent, please contact us and we will do our best to fulfil your order in time to meet your deadline.
For bespoke orders and items to be restored in our workshop, the lead time will be advised as part of the quote.
For bespoke orders and restoration work, we will provide an estimated quote before commencing work. Due to the nature of this type of work, occasionally unanticipated complications occur. If there are any unexpected additional costs which increase the estimated cost by 15% or more, we will contact you to confirm what action you'd like to take.
Shipping times and prices
For items purchased through our online shop (not including bespoke and restored items), we offer free standard shipping within the UK on orders over £25.00. For UK orders under this value, we charge £3.50 per order. UK standard shipping takes 2-5 working days and is generally shipped by Parcelforce48 or Royal Mail Second Class.
We also offer express shipping within the UK for £12 per order. UK express shipping takes 1-2 working days and is generally shipped by Parcelforce24 or Royal Mail First Class.
Tracking your parcel
If you have supplied an email address or mobile telephone number, you will receive an email or text when your parcel has been dispatched. If a tracking number is provided to us, we will include it in that message. If you need any further information, please contact us and we will provide you with as much information as we can about the shipping of your order.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any collection, customs charges and import taxes that may apply. Light Fixation is not responsible for delays due to customs.
If you are collecting your bespoke order or restored item instore, we will notify you by phone or email when your order is ready for collection. We encourage customers to collect their goods within 1 week of this notification. All goods uncollected after 3 months will become the property of Light Fixation and will be disposed of or sold.
Risk and insurance
All items left with us are entirely at the customers own risk and we highly recommend that customers cover their items with their own insurance.
